BFG Release Notes 2025.11.1

New Feature

BFG Platform Upgrade Delivering Faster Performance and Greater Stability

The new and improved Buying Freedom Group (BFG) platform introduces enhanced performance, a modernized interface, and streamlined workflows for a more efficient user experience. This update focuses on improved stability, faster load times, and refined navigation to better support daily operations and business growth.

  • Enhanced Platform Design and User Experience

Several enhancements have been introduced to improve usability and streamline user workflows across the platform. Users can now switch between Grid and List Views for better data visualization, experience smoother and more intuitive UX workflows, and use the new Refresh Option to easily reload data without leaving the page.

  • Distinct Dashboard for Each Business Type

Customized dashboards are now available for each business type, providing users with relevant insights, metrics, and tools specific to their operations. This ensures a more focused and efficient user experience by displaying only the information and features most applicable to each business category.

  • Key Metrics Overview

A new Key Metrics section provides users with a clear overview of essential performance indicators. It highlights critical data points such as inventory and store statistics, enabling faster, data-driven decision-making and improved business visibility.

  • Comprehensive Documentation Access

The API Documentation section provides a centralized hub that consolidates all API endpoints across various modules into one accessible platform. It serves as a single, reliable source of truth for developers and integration partners, ensuring consistency, transparency, and up-to-date visibility into all available APIs for easier integration and development.

Added “Restrict to State” Toggle in Store Locator

The new Restrict to State feature enhances the Store Locator by allowing users to limit the visible stores to those located within a specific state, based on either their current location or the location they have searched for.

When enabled, this toggle ensures that only stores from the relevant state are displayed — even if the user moves the map — improving search accuracy and reducing unnecessary results.

Enhancements

Add “Prioritize Stock Color” Toggle in Store Locator Configuration

Added a new “Prioritize Stock Color” toggle to Map Settings in Store Locator Configuration. When enabled, stock color takes priority over type color for primary marker styling.

Add Toggle Controls for Type and Tag Filters in Store Locator

Introduced Show Type Filter and Show Tag Filter toggles in the Store Locator Configuration, allowing administrators to control which filters are displayed for a cleaner and more relevant user interface.

Added Color Configuration for “Call for Availability” in Store Locator

Enhanced the Store Locator Configuration by introducing a dedicated color setting for “Call for Availability”, aligning it with existing stock level color options such as In Stock, Low Stock, and Out of Stock. This new configuration ensures that the selected color consistently appears in both the Stock Legend and on the corresponding store pins within the map.

Enhance Store Metrics, Information Display, and Inventory Source Filtering

The Store page update introduces improved visibility and filtering options for store and inventory data.

In the Store dashboard, you can now access the following features:

  • Expanded Metrics Visibility
View new metrics showing the number of stores with products and stores with in-stock products.

  • Enhanced Store Information
Store addresses now appear directly below store names in the table view.

  • Inventory Source Owner Filtering
A new filter and column for Inventory Source Owner allow users to segment and analyze store data more precisely.

Improve Store Inventory Export and Candidate Store Filtering in Legacy App

The Store Inventory Export and Candidate Store Filtering update enhances inventory visibility and consistency across exports and list views.

In the Store Inventory module, you can now use the following functionalities:

  • Store-Level Export Rows
Each store’s inventory now appears on a separate row in exports.

  • Candidate Store Filtering
The Include Candidate Stores toggle now properly controls the display of candidate inventories. When disabled, candidate stores are hidden; when enabled, their data appears in the inventory list across platforms.

Add category_code Column to Product Import

The Import Products feature now supports a new category_code column, allowing users to assign product categories directly during import.

Add Image Upload Support to Product Import

Enhanced the product import feature by introducing support for image uploads through a new column in the import file. Users can now include image URLs directly in their CSV or XLSX templates, allowing images to be automatically linked to products during import.

Resolved issues

  • Fixed an issue where the floating drawer overlapped map controls on mobile, ensuring all buttons are now fully accessible and easy to use.
